Water-Cooled

The water-cooled QUANTUM was just as well developed for process cooling with its high demands for reliability, as for HVAC (Heating-Ventilation-Air-Conditioning) applications that present a special challenge to produce efficient refrigeration that does not affect the climate. QUANTUM was tested with excellent COP results distinguishing itself by way of minimal operating costs based on enormous energy savings during partial load. QUANTUM can be delivered in many variations. Our engineers not only do economic efficiency calculations, but also make an on-site survey and analysis of the requirements needed for your customised model.

Air-Cooled

The QUANTUM is also available as an air-cooled variation to be set up out-doors. This technology is independent of external re-cooling (works) and can be placed where no cooling water is available. The air-cooled QUANTUM uses the same flooded vaporisor as the tried and tested water-cooled series. Refrigerant liquefication occurs using a modular, air-cooled, V-liquefier construction. The refrigeration machines operate very quietly and assure extremely little vibration. Special requests for absolute minimal noise levels can be fulfilled.

Quantum as a Heat Pump

The QUANTUM as a heat pump is an interesting alternative to conventional heating systems and not just since the federal government has tried to expand the percentage of renewable energy used by promoting especially effective systems through the Renewable Energy/Heating Law (EEWärmeG). No matter where heat is needed, be it in facility management, industry or indoor or outdoor swimming pools, the energy costs are a significant factor and a convincing reason to change over to heat pump technology.

Our compressor technology functions oil-free using a magnetic bearing – therefore, creating no danger of an oil leak so that further environmental precautions are not needed. In addition, the costs for maintenance are greatly reduced due to the non-wearing magnetic bearing. The QUANTUM heat pump achieves outstanding performance levels between 5,0 and 7,0 COP.
