i.Cool Technology
The printing industry is in a state of flux. Printing presses are getting wider and faster, and have to be able to process an ever increasing production width. The requirements made by end users in terms of the quality of printed products and the flexibility of printing works are growing more and more exacting. In addition, there is great pressure on costs, something that can only be successfully counteracted by optimum production efficiency. In response to this challenge, specialists are currently demanding that production parameters must be reproducible at any time. The task facing suppliers to the printing industry is therefore clear. Each individual component in the production process must be checked to ensure it will not become outmoded.
In the future, an increasingly important role is going to be played by dissipating the waste heat generated by printing machines.
Optimum conditions for people, materials and machinery
Consistently optimum conditions for people, materials and machinery have to be achieved both using the medium of water and that of air. High-quality technical water cooling systems with highly precise measuring systems, frequency-controlled refrigeration machines and common rail water distribution guarantee the inner well-being of the printing press. Thanks to special air guidance, ventilation and air-conditioning systems specifically designed for air conditioning in printing rooms and soundproof enclosures keep conditions constant in the direct vicinity of the printing press irrespective of the season or time of day. Operation with minimum operating costs and the high serviceability of the system thanks to two independent cold generators are expected nowadays and represent the state-of-the-art.
